Howfresh,

Dude, great review on Wildwood. I dig those photos. Surprising to hear the ribs paled in comparison to Georgia's though. I heard good things.

As far as brisket goes, you take Wildwood or Hill Country?

Georgia's does a brisket on Tuesday's that the people who work there claim is ridiculous. Gotta check that out next.

Georgia's ribs are serious. Definitely worth a return visit. I thought the fried chicken might have been the star of the show however.

Hit up Wildwood BBQ last Friday. The beef dishes were serious- brisket and ribs. The baby backs paled in comparison to Georgia's.

Peep the review here...

NYCRealFoodDude,

Thanks, I think, I lost you a little bit in the middle there, but thanks for the somewhat lefthanded complement. I'm glad you approve and I'll keep you updated on the big pig roast, check out the comment I left above for Doc for more info.

Doc,

Whole pig in NYC is something at Daisy May's called the Big Pig Roast...

You can get a 30 pound whole pig for 12 people ($480 +tax) or a 15 pound half pig ($240 +tax) for 6 people. You get a bunch of sides and you have to give them a two day notice.

Here's the link with all the info.

WRONG,

You are correct, there were a lot of attractive and hip women in sugar Sweet sunshine while I was there. I didn't know you had your eye on the males too.

I've never been unsatisfied with a split small, then again everytime I've eaten at sSs it was right after gorging myself on Georgia's Eastside BBQ.

If you went to sSs with some space in your stomach, then yes, a small for two people isn't necessary, each eater can handle their own small cup.

first of all i would just like to say that nycfoodguy is negligent in not mentioning that fact that TONS of hot female (and male) ass frequents Sugar Sweet Sunshine on a daily basis,

and secondly, his claim that one small serving of banana pudding is enough for two people to share is completely erroneous, unless you're trying to feed two anorexic babies, in which case it's more than enough. it's a nice size -- but you're not going to want to share it, so tell your boyfriend to shell out another 4 bucks and get his own

Kudos to the NYCFoodGuy KING!
You have certainly acquitted yourself with the most comprehensive and objective, I did say objective, review of any food place that your pen (keyboard) has brought to this blog universe. Sometimes my good buddy may need a skewer, without food, up the ass, to bring out the RealFoorCritic that has been secreted away in all those fatuous reviews of fries and pizza. You have now proven that you can rise above the normal crap that belongs in the toilet! Better to choose your targets more carefully so that, we fans of NYC Food Guy, can expect to return and find, not only entertainment, but good critical reviews. Keep it coming!
Btw, I am IN w/Doc/little FoodDude & KofK (& more) for the whole pig at Daisy May's.
P.S. "I've eaten more food........than anyone else I know." Yeah, I can tell...lighten up on the portions dude.

Hey Anonymous: vicious, but very funny. This is how you vilify your "good buddy"? Good thing NYCFG has a thick skin. Has to, in this cutthroat food critic business, where tempers and passions run high. And EVERYONE hates Isiah, but what's the point anymore?

Food Guy: Whole pig in NYC? Can't wait to hear about it. Only place I had that in NYC was Plataforma in the theater district: all-you-can-eat Brazilian barbecue/buffet. Great selection, well prepared, and of course, unlimited quantities. Try it, even if you don't love buffets. Trust me.

Lazy?

Wildwood opened three or four days ago, I have some friends who sound oddly similar to you who would never pass up a chance for all you can eat ribs to pay for a plate of single-serving. You know anything about that? How about you reveal yourself and come into NYC and step up with NYC Food Guy this Wednesday for Wildwood?
