Anon-

That actually sounds like a pretty money order. My only reserve, after speaking with some other knowledgeable food lovers, would be the ability of Lenny's hero roll to handle a sandwich like this. I could see a nice ciabatta or grilled sourdough getting the job done though. I'm going to have to investigate and let you know how it went. Keep an eye out for my review. Thanks for the comment.

Gotham City Eats-

Lenny's is definitely a go to Midtown spot, it's quality and consisten and the variety truly can't be beat. Try the G3 next time you go: Grilled Steak, grilled onion, L/T, pickles, melted American and swap out the A1 for Russian. As you can see, I'm all about the Russian dressing. I read your review on GCE and I'm sorry I didn't tell you to extra Russian in advance, it's an essential move. Look forward to hearing about your continued midtown adventures.

I love Lenny's - go there at least once a week. Tried out the SCD after reading about here, and it was great. The Russian dressing was a nice add-on too!

I usually order the same sandwich from most delis I go to, and this didn't change when I went to Lennys. The sandwich is a "Craigarino", named this because obviously, my name is Craig. I ordered it from my hometown deli enough to have the owner notice and name it after me and add it to the menu. The delicious mix is Chicken Cutlet/Grilled Chicken (depending on the mood), Bacon, Fresh Mozz, and BBQ Sauce on a toasted hero. If you really want a heart attack, through that on Garlic Bread for the ride of your life. After getting it at Lennys with the chicken cutlet and lettuce, I was tempted to say it was even better than the original Craigarino. If youre in the mood for something with a little smokey bbq flavor try it out: Chicken Cutlet, Bacon, Fresh Mozz, Lettuce and BBQ sauce on a toasted hero from Lennys
